Highlights of this position

SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES:
Plays a key role in protecting the company’s technological infrastructure and assets by thoroughly assessing, integrating, and enhancing security measures; analyzing complex IT technologies to ensure compliance with stringent security standards prior to approval by the Technology Board; and contributing to the formulation and refinement of security policies to ensure their relevance and effectiveness in the dynamic cybersecurity landscape.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The GSC Security Policy and Architecture Advisory is part of the GSC Security Support Office pillar, combining the Security Policy and Architecture Advisory, Regional Security Support, and Security Certification Support teams.
- Evaluates complex IT technologies from a security standpoint before they are approved by the Technology Board.
- Contributes to the creation and maintenance of security policies.
- Provides consulting services to other IT and business teams regarding security policies and recommendations.
- Contributes to technical integration scenarios, ensuring security in ongoing and planned projects.
- Participates in strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the company’s overall security posture, ensuring resilience against evolving threats and vulnerabilities.
- Provides internal consulting to other team members.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Security, or related fields is desirable.
- Experience in information security, preferably in security architecture.
- Languages: fluent English (B2/C1).
- Needs to be an effective communicator (both to technical and non-technical professionals)
Technical Knowledge:
Experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Management of complex IT environments using directory services;
- Design, management, and protection of complex network environments;
- Design and/or management of cloud-based services;
- Identification of requirements, architecture, deployment, and management of security tools such as vulnerability management, identity management, PKI, log management, MFA, penetration testing, automated code analysis, antimalware solutions;
- Acting as a security SME in IT projects;
- Delivery of security policies, standards, and guidelines.
Additional training or certifications are desirable:
- CISSP (additional advantage)
- CCSP (additional advantage)
- CEH
- AZ-500, AZ-xxx, SC-xxx
- AWS Security
- CompTIA Security+
- Other certifications related to security, public cloud, networking, or IT infrastructure
